Phytonics Acu cream 50 ml

For blockages in the energy flow or insufficient flow of energy in the meridians, for interference fields caused by scars and for the treatment of general acupuncture points.

This cream works like an acupuncturist's needles, stimulating energy flow in the meridians. Applying clockwise gives a toning effect, counterclockwise a sedating effect.

The Phytonics Acu cream can be used, among other things, to undisturb scars. Frequency of use and relevant acupuncture point(s) can be indicated by the veterinarian or therapist.

Administration

Apply cream to the affected acupuncture point(s). Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.

The roots of acupuncture lie in China, where the technique has been used for thousands of years. The treatment method is based on the traditional Chinese philosophy that a (life) energy flows through every body called 'Qi'. That energy has, 'Yang' and 'Yin', these are each other's opposites, which are inextricably linked. Yin and Yang are in harmony with each other in a healthy animal. If they become out of balance with each other, the energy flow in the body is disrupted and illnesses arise. This disruption can have an external cause, such as a virus, but can also be caused by trauma, overload, intense emotions or stress.

According to Chinese philosophy, life energy flows through the body through a system of channels located just under the skin. Together, all these channels actually form a kind of large web. There are several main channels, also called meridians, each of which is connected to one of the organs. In the dog, cat and horse, 12 main meridians + 2 extraordinary meridians are distinguished.

If the energy flow is blocked somewhere, it can be restored by piercing the meridians with needles at certain points, so the energy can flow again and the balance in the body can be restored.

Duration of treatment

In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue with the administration of this product for a few more days. With prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging.

Interaction and contraindication
